Terms & Conditions

1) Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern your booking and participation in classes with Guildford Craft Collective (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking a class or taking part in our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1.2 We may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website, and you are encouraged to review them regularly.

2) Booking and Enrolment

2.1 All bookings must be made through our online booking system or directly with Guildford Craft Collective.

2.2 When booking, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your name, contact details, and payment information.

2.3 By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2.4 Your child’s place in a Guildford Craft Collective class or course is confirmed only once the online booking is completed and full payment has been received. Until then, the place is not secured and may be offered to another participant.

2.5 Responsibility for booking details and payment lies with the person making the initial booking. Places are allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis. If a class is full, you may join a waiting list. Should a space become available, we will contact you via email or phone.

2.6 If a participant withdraws from a class or course after acceptance, Guildford Craft Collective reserves the right to withhold the full class/course fee. This also applies in cases of sickness.

3) Payment

3.1 All fees must be paid in full and in advance by the stated deadline for a participant to attend any Guildford Craft Collective session. Until payment is received, the place is not secured and may be offered to another participant.

4) Arrival and Departure

4.1 Each participant must be signed in and out at the start and end of each class using the register provided. Parents must inform the teacher if someone else will be collecting their child.

4.2 For safeguarding reasons, parents are not permitted to be in the classroom during sessions unless invited for a trial, open class, or other agreed circumstance. This ensures a safe and focused environment for all children.

4.3 If a student will be arriving or leaving independently, parents must inform Guildford Craft Collective in writing beforehand.

4.4 Students should  be collected no later than ten minutes after the class ends. We cannot supervise children outside these times.

5) Programme Changes

5.1 Guildford Craft Collective reserves the right to change class content, schedules, or teaching staff as necessary.

5.2 In the unlikely event of a class being cancelled, parents will be informed as soon as possible.

6) Personal Property

6.1 All personal belongings remain the responsibility of the participant. Valuable or sentimental items should not be brought to class.

7) Meals and Snacks

7.1 Participants may bring water‑based drinks. All Guildford Craft Collective sessions are nut‑free, and any nut‑based items will be removed and returned at the end of class.

8) Health and Injuries

8.1 Students participate at their own risk. Parents must inform us of any medical conditions or injuries at the time of booking and notify us immediately of any changes.

8.2 Any medication left on site must be clearly labelled. Students should be able to self‑administer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8.3 If a student becomes unwell or requires emergency treatment, parents will be contacted using the emergency details provided. These must be kept up to date.

9) Photography

9.1 Photographs or videos may be taken during classes for use on our website, social media, or promotional materials. Parents must inform us at the time of booking if they do not wish their child to be included.

10) Equal Opportunities

10.1 We do not tolerate offensive, discriminatory, or disruptive behaviour. Any participant displaying such behaviour will receive a warning. If it continues, they may be asked to leave the class and parents will be contacted.

11) Liability and Insurance

11.1 Guildford Craft Collective holds public liability insurance for our classes and activities. We are not responsible for personal injury or loss unless caused by our negligence.

11.2 Parents are responsible for ensuring appropriate medical cover or insurance for their child.

12) Data Protection

12.1 Guildford Craft Collective collects and processes personal information for managing bookings, payments, and communication. We comply with UK data protection laws, including GDPR, to ensure your data is handled securely and respectfully.
